Nikolas Kloufetos

I grew up part of a migrant family that lived through tough times with little opportunity. When my family arrived in Australia they owned and operated a variety of small to medium-sized businesses in a variety of industries. English was a challenge and therefore obtaining an education was paramount. I learnt early on the importance of listening whilst being curious, building trust with my key relationships, keeping an open mind when faced with challenges, and always have a problem-solving mindset.

These skill sets have stood me in good stead not only as a boy but through my young adult years to where I am today. I have been fortunate enough to work in small and large organisations gaining valuable insight and experience whilst also obtaining the relevant business degrees, education, and industry qualifications.

Whilst my experience has traversed through many industries, I have formed an enthusiasm and connection to financial services. Owning and operating a successful business has been a long-held vision of mine, today I am the founder and owner of Advice Compliance Support (ACS).

Problem-solving is innate in what I do and as a result, I can view issues from many different perspectives. When working with my risk and compliance clients, I focus on understanding their business to create strategies that can be implemented to achieve the desired outcome.

My vision is to change the perception of compliance being seen as a challenge, to classify it as a risk and quality control that must be managed to allow a business to grow. I want advisers to operate their business on their terms and to not view compliance as a burden, working together in a trusted partnership with us.
